Update On Impact Wrestling On Destination America; Has The ‘Opt-Out’ Situation Improved At All?

impact_wrestling_splashDave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez commented on TNA’s domestic television future on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, and said that it’s still not looking very good for Impact Wrestling.

In regards to Destination America possibly using their “opt-out” clause with TNA at the end of September, they noted TNA’s future is not a public thing yet, but no one has actually given the “thumbs up” to keep the show on the air.

TNA Impact Wrestling has several weeks of content left to air that would take them through September, but nothing is booked after that for television tapings. TNA is confirmed for their annual Maximum Impact tour in January; there was talk of taking TV tapings to India in November but nothing is confirmed.
