*Spoilers* WWE Tapes Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament, Updated Brackets and Matchups

dusty rhodes classic tag teamAt last night’s NXT event in Jacksonville, The Vaudevillians defeated Blake and Murphy in a first round contest in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

We now know which teams will face each other to advance. These matches could take place at the September 10th NXT TV tapings from Full Sail University. WWE could also space out the matches and use them at live events, similar to what they have done recently. The winner of Bracket A will face the winner of Bracket B, while the winner of Bracket C faces the winner of Bracket D.

Those two winning teams will then face off at the October 7th NXT Takeover event from Full Sail University to determine a tournament winner.

Bracket A – First Round Matches

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady defeated Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton

Finn Balor and Samoa Joe defeated The Lucha Dragons

Bracket B – First Round Matches

The Vaudevillians defeated Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder defeated Tucker Knight and Elias Samson

Bracket C – First Round Matches

Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder defeated Noah Kekoa and Alexander Wolfe

Jason Jordan and Chad Gable defeated Neville and Solomon Crowe

NEXT: The Hype Bros vs. Jordan and Gable

Bracket D – First Round Matches

Rhyno and Baron Corbin defeated The Ascension

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa defeated Tyler Breeze and Bull Dempsey

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
