Forbes Analyzes the Possibility of Brock Lesnar vs Steve Austin at WrestleMania 32, Provides In-Depth Review of TNA Bound for Glory

Despite Steve Austin shooting down the possibility of facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32, Alfred Konuwa of Forbes.com has posted a new article analyzing the possibility of the dream match.

The following is an article excerpt:

The seemingly premature rubber match [between Lesnar and Undertaker] has caused natural speculation that Vince McMahon has changed his mind on booking Lesnar vs. Undertaker as one of the WrestleMania main events. If this is true, Brock Lesnar’s slate of likely opponents for a potentially record-breaking WrestleMania is a fantasy booker’s dream.

WrestleMania 32 will take place inside the massive AT&T T +3.03% Stadium in Arlington, TX. With a capacity of over 100,000, this event is expected to shatter WWE’s long-standing (albeit controversial) indoor attendance record of 93,173, which dates back to WrestleMania III in 1987.

The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin are at the top of an intriguing list of legendary opponents for Lesnar at WrestleMania 32. Paired with Lesnar, either man would put WrestleMania 32 on track to break most, if not all, major WWE pay-per-view and live attendance records. The Rock would be the more likely opponent of the two since he still wrestles on a part-time basis. Steve Austin hasn’t worked a match since WrestleMania XIX in 2003.

Konuwa has also provided an in-depth review of TNA Bound for Glory last night, and below is an excerpt from that article:

With so many matches and so little build, there was little to no story or culmination to any of these so-called feuds. This pay-per-view, which is supposed to be TNA’s version of WrestleMania, seemed like more of a house show than last night’s special on the WWE Network.

The Triple Threat main event, where each participant worked hard for an above-average main event match, seemed especially forced if not telegraphed from the start.
