WWE.com Confirms James Storm NXT Debut, Announces Match Air Date, Barrett Explains His Actions On Smackdown Fallout (Video)

As noted earlier, former TNA star James Storm made his NXT debut at tonight’s NXT TV tapings, and competed in a match. 

WWE’s Twitter and Instagram accounts, Triple H’s Twitter account officially acknowledged the debut, and WWE.com issued the following write-up, which includes the date of Storm’s debut match air date: 

ORLANDO, Fla. — One night after the critically acclaimed TakeOver: Respect special on WWE Network, NXT has again made waves.

James Storm, an 18-year veteran and former heavyweight champion, made his unannounced debut at tonight’s NXT TV tapings. He competed in a match that will air on NXT on Wednesday, Oct. 21, only on WWE Network.

The official NXT Twitter account broke the news of Storm’s presence in the NXT Arena at Full Sail University, and Triple H also tweeted about the appearance.

Storm’s arrival just underscores what the WWE Universe already realizes: You just never know who will show up in NXT.
