Bayley makes her way to the ring. The crowd is showering her with praise, chanting, “match of the year”. Bayley puts over the NXT Takeover: Respect card. She highlights her match with Sasha and The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament. She goes on to say that the NXT Women’s division has been validated. Alexa Bliss interrupts Bayley to tell her that she was in awe of Bayley’s performance last week. Bliss tells Bayley truly deserves to be Champion. Bliss raises Bayley’s hand and the crowd applauds. Bliss snatches the title out of Bayley’s hands and Blake and Murphy stand in Bayley’s way so she can’t get her hands on Bliss. Bliss tells Bayley the next time she takes the title from her it will be for real.
During a WWE.com special feature, Samoa Joe challenges Finn Bálor for a shot at the NXT title. William Regal tells Joe it is not going to be that easy. There will be a number one contenders battle royal tonight to determine Bálor’s next challenge.
The Vaudevillains vs Sawyer Fulton and Angelo Dawkins
Dawkins and English start the match, trading arm bars until English whips Dawkins over in a Japanese arm drag into another arm bar. English poses as Dawkins writhes in pain. Dawkins tags in Fulton who punches English right in the face. Dawkins is back in. Dawkins body slams English, and then tags Fulton back in. Fulton dives off the top with a hugs diving elbow drop. English manages to tag in Gotch who suplexes Dawkins and sends him back down to the mat with a jumping double knee strike. Gotch hits another suplex, before tagging in English. They hit the whirling dervish for the win.
Winners- The Vaudevillains
Backstage, Devon is talking to Dawson and Dash. Dash notes the fact that they defeated The Vaudevillains during the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They are the number on contenders and will defeat The Vaudevillains for the titles.
