Hogan’s Beach
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting Hogan’s Beach is still open despite earlier reports that it had closed to undergo a renovation and rebranding.
The restaurant phone was still being answered with a “Hogan’s Beach” greeting, but the sign has been replaced and now reads “Bay Harbor Hotel and Restaurant.” It is expected that the rebranding will happen sometime this week; the sale of the restaurant and hotel on the property closed for $34.5 million on Monday. `
Owner Ben Mallah said the sale was already planned, and Hogan’s public scandal was not an issue; the new owners just wanted to drop the “Hogan’s Beach” theme and the timing happened to work out.
