WWE Stock Spikes Following Network Announcement

ryback WWE stock spiked over 7% today after it was announced that the WWE Network will be launching in India on November 2nd.

Wicked Local has published a new article covering Mick Foley’s stand-up show in Saugus, MA earlier this month, and the writer recalled the following from Foley’s set, when asked by a fan if he’s friends with The Undertaker:

“I say no, he’s the Undertaker, he doesn’t text message,” Foley said, drawing a huge laugh from the crowd. “I don’t want to live in a world where the Undertaker is tweeting.”

In a new interview posted over at AZCentral.com to promote next week’s WWE Smackdown tapings at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ, Ryback had the following to say regarding how much input he has on his character:

“I can say that for me, personally, I 100 percent have been able to do anything I want to with Ryback. We’ve talked about things and certain elements, but I’ve been allowed creative control to do what I want to do. If Vince (McMahon, WWE CEO) doesn’t like anything, he would tell me and we’d correct.”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
