More Backstage Details On The Young Bucks’ Contract With Ring Of Honor; What Is Guaranteed, Why They Chose ROH

As noted, the Young Bucks’ new contracts are exclusive to the team working for Ring Of Honor in North America, with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla as an exception.

The Bucks can also work for New Japan Pro Wrestling, but they apparently started telling independent promoters a few months ago that they would not take bookings after mid-October. The Young Bucks told promoters they would be signed to an exclusive deal by this point in time, which is said to include a guaranteed salary in addition to keeping their NJPW deals.

As noted earlier, Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com said the new Young Bucks deal is 

The Observer noted the Bucks’ deal is guaranteed for over a year; the Observer noted that the deal is a good deal with more guaranteed money than ROH has offered annually. The Observer noted ROH was a good deal because the Bucks wouldn’t have to relocate, would work less with a guaranteed income, which was higher than they’d get with NXT, and higher than some lower paid WWE stars.
