Report: Departure of TNA’s Touring Manager Leads to Speculation Regarding TNA’s Touring Future

According to PWInsider.com, TNA Wrestling’s Director of Touring, Mike Krewson, has left the company. This is the second time Krewson has left TNA, as he worked for the company from 2008-2013, then left to take a position with Lucha Libre USA. Krewson returned to TNA in February 2014, and left again this week.

Krewson’s departure could be a sign that TNA has no plans to resume live events touring heading into 2016, although that is just speculation at this time as Krewson is leaving the company to become the General Manager of Baylor University’s new McLane Stadium.

Krewson’s job in TNA included booking and managing live events, and working with the venues on logistics, etc. It’s being said Krewson will likely be replaced by Bob Ryder, who currently heads TNA’s Talent Relations department. While Krewson’s departure does not mean TNA will not be touring anymore, with Ryder now taking on Krewson’s duties touring might be more of a pick-and-choose situation.
