WWE Network Officially Launches in India, WWE Stock Update, “Dateline” NBC Interest Leads to Gag Order in Jimmy Snuka Case

WWE Network Officially Launches in India

The one major difference in the service is that new users in India will get access to each new WWE PPV a full 24 hours after the event airs, instead of live. Plans are underway to begin live broadcasting of all WWE PPV events in 2017.

WWE Stock Update

WWE stock was down as low as $16.71 today after closing on Friday at $17.83. The announcement of WWE Network should have some overall impact on the stock.

“Dateline” NBC Leads to Gag Order in Jimmy Snuka Case

As noted, the prosecution in the Jimmy Snuka murder/manslaughter case requested and was granted a gag order in the case, meaning neither side is allowed to speak publicly about the case as long as it’s pending.

According to PWInsider.com, NBC’s “Dateline” expressed interest in the case and that led to the gag order issued today.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Charles Gallagher III initially made the request, saying he was upset about comments made by Snuka’s Defense Attorney Robert Kirwan about the case after the last hearing. At that time, Kirwan referred to the death of Nancy Argentino as an “unfortunate accident”.
