New Pro Wrestling Drama Coming to FOX

daniel bryan According to Deadline.com, a new pro wrestling themed drama, titled “The Work”, has been purchased by FOX.

The show will center around the world of pro wrestling, and was written by Scott O’Connor, who penned the novels Half World and Untouchable, and wrote a pro wrestling piece on Brock Lesnar for the New York Times this past August.

Daniel Bryan Asked About The Great Khali on India Tour

As noted, Daniel Bryan is currently in India doing promo work for WWE’s upcoming tour of the country.

According to The Wrestling Observer, during Wednesday’s press conference with Bryan, a member of the media reportedly asked if The Great Khali would be at the upcoming WWE live events, and Ten Sports representative Rajesh Sethi deflected the question by talking about how large the Big Show is and plugged that he would be on the tour.

As we have been reporting, The Great Khali is now working with TNA and the company’s upcoming tour of India.

Samoa Joe Reacts to Heel Turn

Samoa Joe posted the following on Twitter, reacting to his heel turn on NXT last night:

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
