Sheamus Talks When He Decided to Cash-In Money in the Bank, His Upcoming TLC Title Match, Reigns and Ambrose’s Relationship, More

New WWE World Champion Sheamus is this week’s guest for Michael Cole’s sitdown interview, and below are some highlights. You can watch the entire interview at this link.

Cole asks Sheamus when he decided to cash-in Money in the Bank at WWE Survivor Series on Sunday and Sheamus says when Reigns turned down the handshake and speared Triple H, he knew that was his moment.

Sheamus talks about the friendship between Reigns and Dean Ambrose, and says they were enemies while in the ring. He says Reigns’ victory celebration was a great moment and when Triple H walked out, that was a big opportunity for Reigns to embrace The Authority.

Cole asks if it bothers Sheamus that some fans are calling him a sellout after aligning with The Authority. Sheamus says he doesn’t care what anyone says. He says there are Hall of Famers who never became World Champion and it’s not about what people think, it’s about what he thinks. He says the record books won’t say he sold out, they will say he won the title at Survivor Series.

Cole then brings up the Tables, Ladders and Chairs title match at the TLC PPV and asks Sheamus what his chances are. Sheamus reminds Cole he won his first title by putting John Cena through a table. He earned Money in the Bank in a Ladder Match. He says TLC is the perfect match for him and when it’s over, he will ask the WWE Universe who looks stupid now.
