On how John Cena’s dynamic with The League of Nations differs from his dynamic with fresher talent during the US Open Challenge:

BH: It’s a different bit of business. I don’t know that he “humbled” himself to be the US Champion but to do that US Open Challenge thing. To get mid-card guys elevated and get great matches out there… it shows that he is willing to help elevate. Which he absolutely did. All the way from Kevin Owens to everyone else he got over. This gauntlet is about a guy overcoming adversity. Different storyline, right? It’s not about the guys in The League of Nations getting elevated by him.

On Curtis Axel as the second announced participant in the Royal Rumble:

BH: They will probably just play the game out again. That’s the smart business to do. On the third beat… if we are talking about closure or getting him over… next year would be the one where he does something amazing in the Rumble. He needs to be eliminated again this year and still lose. Or, he stays in and they give him a slow, steady build going in to WrestleMania. We can get the big “Axel vs Rose” build. Where they finally face off and Guns N’ Roses appears. It actually means something. We get some stream behind them. That would be a huge WrestleMania moment for him. Why not build him the right way to get get to that point?

On what he wants expects of Vince McMahon’s appearance as the referee in the main event between Roman Reigns and Sheamus tonight:

BH: What I think is going to happen? It’ll be more focus on Vince and politics. I don’t know who is going to come out with the oneupmanship in the end. Whether they are going to put heat on the office here because… what’s the pay off? Is it more of just getting people behind Roman Reigns as a babyface? Getting him over on the office? Where he walks out and misses the big trap?
