Yesterday, PWInsider.com posted an article speculating Daniel Bryan could be undergoing WWE medical testing this week as he will be in Pittsburgh for a World of Wheels appearance and autograph signing.
According to Dave Meltzer on The Wrestling Observer forums, Bryan does not have an appointment this week to meet with WWE doctor Joseph Maroon, who is based in Pittsburgh, but is only there for the Wheels appearance.
“[Bryan is] in and out, no appointment with Maroon,” said Meltzer.
It should be noted that the PWInsider report never confirmed Bryan was going in for medical testing this week, only that Bryan’s trip to Pittsburgh “could suggest WWE and Bryan are working towards some form of resolution on the issue”.
WZ’s Justin LaBar added the following on Twitter Tuesday night:
Report D Bryan is coming to Pitt for medical. Don’t know for sure about medical but he is replacing Seth Rollins Friday at World of Wheels.
