According to ProWrestlingSheet.com, Lucha Underground and AAA star Rey Mysrerio are currently amidst a contract dispute, which is why Mysterio has been noticeably absent from recent AAA events. Mysterio is holding out on AAA because of money and what he perceives to be shady business practices on the part of AAA.
The report notes Mysterio’s deal with AAA is based on the number of dates he’d be away from home, whether it’s a house show, TV taping or media appearance, but despite the agreement, Rey’s no longer being paid for every trip he’s made for the company and is unhappy about the situation.
