Even though he was originally announced for this week’s show, PWInsider.com is reporting Brock Lesnar is not scheduled for tonight’s WWE Smackdown tapings in Portland, Oregon.
WWE had originally announced Brock Lesnar would appear on this week’s show, but he will now appear on next week’s Smackdown on February 16th, which was a previously scheduled appearance, to hype the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view. As noted, Lesnar was already scheduled for the 2/16 show in Ontario, California, as well as the March 22nd taping in Boston, Massachusetts.
Wrestlezone reported earlier in the day that Lesnar’s lack of promotion for Smackdown on last night’s RAW was a likely sign he wouldn’t be at tonight’s tapings; the February 16th appearance will be Brock Lesnar’s first official Smackdown appearance in almost twelve years.
