This segment of Chair Shot Reality is all about the UFC debut for CM Punk getting delayed due to him having surgery. Here’s some highlights of the conversation:

Josh Isenberg:

Everybody has been waiting to see him either dominate  or like me wanting to see someone punch him in the mouth and knock him down. You have people talking good for Daniel Bryan, good for his health it’s a serious thing. I’m not comparing the injuries, but if you call one guy courageous by taking care of his injuries and not performing — a herniated disk is nothing to be sorry about. It’s a serious injury that needs surgery. It’s not like it’s pro wrestling where he can cover the injury up, he’s going into UFC where he’s going to get beat up and it can be a target for others.

Justin LaBar:

I’m disappointed. He was going to have my money. He should definetly take care of his body. If you know you’re not healthy then don’t go into the Octagon. Here’s the problem I have — It’s been exactly 24 months. Two years since he took a bump in a wrestling ring. It’s the longest break he’s had in his last 16 years of not taking bumps in a pro wrestling ring. You know you’re setting yourself up for bad reactions on the count of bad timing when you’ve had two years to do whatever you want and nurse your body and you’ve known for a year you’re doing UFC. Then four days after your first opponent does the stare down, its announced and then you say you’re not ready to go. I know in my heart CM Punk isn’t scared, that’s not what this is about but it really is bad timing.
