Stephanie McMahon Talks Playing a Villain on WWE TV, Connor’s Cure and The V Foundation, Female Raw Viewership Rising and More

 

As noted, Stephanie McMahon appeared on The Rachel Ray Show this morning to promote WWE and WrestleMania 32.

After a clip played featuring Dean Ambrose and Stephanie on an episode of Raw, Stephanie quickly pointed on to the crowd that she plays a villain on TV and that it’s only a character.

She then talked about the new Connor’s Cure, WWE and V Foundation partnership and joked that later in the night she would be playing a hated villain on Raw. and later that night, she was playing the villain on Raw. She continued to talk about how audiences know the differences between real life and characters on TV, much like the movies.

Show host Rachael Ray noted WWE programming has seen a rise of 30-40% in female viewership since Stephanie has gotten involved. McMahon said she couldn’t take all the credit for that as they have “an incredible team” and praised “Total Divas” and the hard work of the female competitors in the company.
