On the way Vince books the WWE product:

BH: I know personally that Vince is a very smart guy. He looks at all of the different angles. They don’t like to do what is predictable. They don’t want the fans guessing ahead of time what’s going to happen. He’s really calculated about that. He thinks, “Oh, this is what everyone thinks is going to happen so we gotta do this instead.” That’s why there is so much intrigue in this specific match (Undertaker vs Shane). You don’t quite know where it’s going and what’s going to happen. I think that’s the beauty of it.

On Roman Reigns’ current WWE push:

BH: I’ve got a funny vibe about Roman Reigns. I think something is going to change. I think something is going to happen. I think they’ve given him a big push and I don’t blame Roman Reigns at all. I blame the booking. They’ve done a really poor job of trying to get him over. If anything, every time they try to get him over he’s just better trying to get himself over on his own. They’ve kind of dropped the ball there, again, and I sense that they’re going to sort of remold or manufacture him. Maybe possibly in a heel role. There’s a lot of money invested in a guy once they make all these t-shirts and videos. It’s hard to take him out of that. Once they invest so much in to you it’s hard to lose that investment and go, “Ok, he’s not gonna sell. He’s not working as a babyface.” I think with the fans he’s getting such a poor reaction and I believe all of that is the booking. Not the ability of the wrestler at all. I sense that the way to revive him is that something is going to happen with Roman Reigns. Something that’s either going to establish him as a hero or something that’s going to go in a different direction and turn him heel.  I am just kind of red flagging that something is going to happen. They have to do something with him, or for him, and I think that’s the day that it happens… WrestleMania.

On advice that Vince McMahon gave him after he won his first WWF World Heavyweight Championship:

BH: I remember when I won the title. When Vince made me the champion. I remember I said to him, “What happens if I don’t get over?” He goes, “That’s not your job. That’s my job. I’ll get you over.” He goes, “Your job is to go in there and do the wrestling. Just keep doing the matches you’ve been doing. Just keep working the way you are working. The rest is my job.” That’s how it was and they did get me over. They did a lot great things to help me get over and establish me. Roman Reigns, personally, I think they’ve dropped the ball with him. I think he’s at a crossroads.
