Ciampa / Gargano

Both Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa reportedly have deals in place with WWE that are said to be similar in terms to the original deal with Samoa Joe.

Under these terms, this would mean Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are contracted to work for NXT, but don’t train at the WWE Performance Center, and are available to accept independent bookings on off days. It was not clear if there are limitations on where either one could work, but an issue with Samoa Joe’s deal was that he was going to work a Ring of Honor television taping and WWE didn’t want him to appear and then changed the terms.

Seth Petruzelli

Seth Petruzelli, a former MMA fighter and the WWE Performance Center’s current striking coach was reportedly contacted by Bellator to be Kimbo’s Slice’s next opponent.

Petruzelli does have history with Slice, when Petruzelli was a last minute replacement for Ken Shamrock and ended up knocking Slice out in 14 seconds. On a similar note, Petruzelli was also reportedly discussed for a role in the Triple H versus Roman Reigns match, but it’s unclear how exactly he would be involved.
