This coming week TNA will return to Universal Studios for more TV tapings. It’s being said that there’s a feeling in the office that whatever is going to happen as fas as TNA investors goes is going to happen soon and that changes will be made. The situation is being described as TNA approaching the 11th hour regarding a new deal with investors. There is said to be one group of investors that are the favorite to end up with the company. There is also another party involved but they are said to be a long shot. The favorites reportedly have two people with TNA that have wrestling experience among them.

Dixie Carter is still trying to negotiate a deal that will see her keep control of the company but the majority of the company will be sold one way or another.

We noted recently that MVP’s contract with Lucha Underground was terminated over a podcast he had done.

Apparently Lucha Underground officials were upset that during his podcast there was talk about what was going on within the promotion and felt that some spoilers were given out. As soon as MVP heard that officials were upset he immediately had the podcast taken down but that was not enough for the officials. Apparently the lawyers for the parent company were upset and felt that he violated his deal by talking about spoilers and had his deal with Lucha Underground nixed.

Catrina and Jeff Cobb were guests on the podcast and it was never mentioned that Cobb portrays the character of Mantaza Cueto. Apparently the age of Catrina’s character was mentioned, 138, which is not something that has been revealed on the show yet.

People close to the situation were shocked that MVP’s deal was terminated and the feeling is that it was ridiculously petty and a cover for something else. MVP did not discuss the situation on his most recent MLW podcast but his co-host, former WWE writer Alex Greenfield, mentioned that MVP’s termination was a personal betrayal but would not mention who betrayed him.
