Clarifying Conor McGregor – WWE Speculation, Austin Aries Talks TNA Sale Rumors, Steve Austin Says WM Exposed “Holes” in Reigns’ Game

Clarifying Conor McGregor – WWE Speculation

Shortly after Conor McGregor announced his UFC retirement, there was a buzz on social media and on the internet that McGregor could be on his way to WWE since he recently started following Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon on Twitter. Some reports even claimed McGregor started following the WWE stars after his retirement Tweet.

To clarify, McGregor began following the WWE stars during WrestleMania 32 week, so while McGregor’s WWE status is unknown at the time, and he very well might have an interest in the company and/or pro wrestling, he did not begin following the WWE stars today or within the past day or two.

Austin Aries Comments on TNA Sale Rumors

NXT star Austin Aries recently appeared as a guest on Fightclub Chicago on Chicagoland Sports Radio, and below is what Aries had to say about rumors of a possible TNA sale and the company’s reported financial issues:

“It always goes back to the ownership group. At the end of the day, you can change coaches and managers and players, but if there’s something intrinsic, something wrong, then you have to look at what the common denominator is, and, usually, you’ve got to look at the ownership because everything runs from there. All I can say is I hope they continue to remain a viable company where guys and girls can make a living and make money. The wrestling industry needs healthy, successful products and the more the better because that’s just more opportunities and jobs for the men and women who enjoy professional wrestling for a living.”

Austin Says WM32 Exposed “Holes” in Reigns’ Game

On a recent edition of “The Steve Austin Show”, which you can listen to in full at PodcastOne.com, below is what Steve Austin had to say on Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania 32 match somewhat exposing the WWE World Champion:

“You’re trying to make Roman Reigns. I don’t think you make him in a 28-minute chess match. This match needed to be all about excitement, explosion, and testosterone out of Roman and that’s how I think they should have booked it. Making Roman Reigns work this long exposed more holes in his game than we’ve already known that exist.”
