According to live reports, Samoa Joe defeated Finn Balor at tonight’s WWE NXT live event in Lowell to become the new NXT Champion.
An injury spot took place at one point in the match with Finn Balor, and at this time it remains unclear whether or not it was legitimate.
Balor seemed to roll his ankle, and when he got back up he looked injured as he was favoring the leg. The referee then threw up the “X” sign, and Joe won the match and the WWE NXT title about a minute later. Below are photos:
