This first segment of Chair Shot Reality is all about Chyna and remembering her. The guys talk about what they remember her for, people coming out speaking their minds about her now and why she eventually will go to the WWE Hall of Fame. Here’s some highlights of this conversation:

Brian Gulish:

I want her to be known as the Chyna who had great positive impact on WWE programming. I’ve been going back and forth on my thoughts on people on Twitter coming out the woodwork saying we miss you and you were a great friend. It’s easy to say that now, I wish the true sentiment could have came out when she was alive and she could appreciate that. Maybe it would have made her health better.

Josh Isenberg:

She didn’t look appealing to the eye and years later she’s on the cover of Playboy. The way she was able to transition her look and character to the point of generic scary looking women to Eddie Guerrero’s love interest. I love seeing that from point A to point B. I agree with you Brian, the fact people come out and say these nice things but the last years she’s been black shadowed. This might be controversial, I wonder if she didn’t have the relationship she did with Triple H, would she have gotten the help Scott Hall got from WWE. You might not be able to compare addictions to addictions, I’ve never been addicted to drugs, I don’t know what it’s like. But would WWE have reached out and helped her?

Ronnell Hunt:

This goes beyond wrestling, we have the natural intent to let people smell the roses after they are already deceased. I believe she will go to the Hall of Fame, I’d like to see it as soon as possible.

Justin LaBar:

I do think she makes the Hall of Fame, I’d be surprised if it’s next year, maybe the next couple years. I think two reasons—one, it’s unfortunate when this happens but after people die they get more immortalized and people come out and say their feelings about them, maybe feelings they should have said when the person was alive. The other, never mind what happens when you google her, I think a fear WWE had is giving her a live mic is what she could say. But now she’s dead and can’t make a speech. I know that sounds cold and dark. But think, WWE let’s the people have their time and say whatever. Who cares if Scott Hall and Kevin Nash talk about leaving Vince for WCW or Madusa talking dropping a title in the trash. That’s all business. What we know what Chyna has in her past and emotion is a lot of personal. I’d like to think if Chyna’s alive going into WWE Hall of Fame, that in the process of it all coming together they (her and WWE) would bury all the hatchets and it would be a positive moment. But it’s the fear of the unknown for WWE.
