More Backstage Details on the Severity of the Concussion Suffered By Enzo Amore at WWE Payback

As noted, Enzo Amore suffered a concussion during the opening match of WWE Payback last night and was taken to a local Chicago hospital.

While Enzo was eventually discharged from the hospital and photos of him appearing to be okay and in good spirits were posted on social media, F4WOnline.com is reporting the concussion Amore suffered was very severe.

Additionally, it’s being said Amore was able to remember everything from before the Payback match, and he was able to communicate with paramedics and move his extremities before the ambulance left the arena. The announce team noted during Payback that Enzo underwent a battery of other tests at the hospital and they all came back negative, which lead to him being discharged late last night.

Amore will still need to pass ImPACT concussion testing before he can be cleared to return to the ring, and there’s no word at this time as to how long that might take.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
