Chair Shot Reality is kicking off the 2016 summer tour being outside the studio and going on location. This is the first of four segments this weekend filmed at the Squirrel Hill sports bar in Pittsburgh.

Justin LaBar and Josh Isenberg talking about Roman Reigns having his best match ever against AJ Styles and debating where the Gallows/Anderson/Styles storyline could be headed. Here’s some highlights from the conversation:

Josh Isenberg:

Roman Reigns put on the best match I’ve seen in some time from him. For the longest time people liked Reigns because he was part of The Shield. He was linked to the splash moves of Rollins and dirty work with Ambrose. Then Reigns came back with the big power moves. As he became a singles guy they stripped him down of his physicality. It was him trying to work a 15 minute match and it didn’t connect with the crowd. This connected with the crowd. Roman Reigns came out at Payback and I expect him to do more at Extreme Rules. As good as he is with his power, the extreme rules stipulation gives him more creativity to use his big splash moves.

Justin LaBar:

I think something that worked with AJ Styles for Roman Reigns, I talked about this on TribLIVE Radio, the articulation of why some fans don’t enjoy or think a guy like Reigns or other bigger guys can wrestle. It comes down to pace. Certain wrestling fans because they get ROH, NJPW, Cesaro vs Owens on RAW— they don’t want to see rest holds. They want a more constant moving match. I think AJ Styles found a way to play to some of Roman’s big spots and signatures but still made it an AJ Styles quality match.
