Everything You Need to Know About the Brock Lesnar UFC 200 Fight Deal, Lesnar Arm Wrestles Vince McMahon, CM Punk Fight Set?

In today’s WrestleTalk News, everything you need to know about Brock Lesnar’s UFC 200 deal, including how he ‘arm wrestled’ Vince McMahon to agree to the terms and what this could mean forWWE’s Summerslam event, along with an update on when former WWE Champion CM Punk’s first fight could be…

CM Punk’s Debut Fight Revealed?

According to Jeremy Blotter of FloCombat, CM Punk’s debut fight for the UFC is set to take place atUFC 202 on the 20th August.

It’s previously been reported that Punk’s opponent, Mickey Gall, was being followed by cameras, filming a documentary about the build up to the fight.

UFC 202 is an interesting show for Punk’s debut fight to happen on as not only will that card be headlined by the huge Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz rematch, but it’s also taking place on the same night as NXT Takeover: Brooklyn and the day before Summerslam.

Luckily for fans wanting to watch everything, NXT finishes right when UFC starts, meaning that you can see it all in one huge five hour marathon. Which is still quicker than Wrestlemania 32. I’m still recovering.

Brock Lesnar Announces UFC Return

CM Punk has been beaten to the octagon though.

In a shocking move, it was revealed at UFC 199 this past weekend that former UFC Heavyweight Champion and current WWE star Brock Lesnar will be returning to the company at UFC 200.

Lesnar’s opponent on the show will be Mark Hunt. And yes, that last syllable does sound rude if you say it fast enough.

At the time, many speculated that Lesnar’s UFC deal meant he had parted ways with the WWE and was returning to MMA full time. That’s not the case, however, as according to WWE:

“Brock Lesnar remains under contract to WWE, however, he has been granted a one-off opportunity to compete at UFC 200. Following this milestone event on July 9, Brock will return to WWE forSummerSlam on Sunday, August 21, live on WWE Network.”
