On the phone call he describes in his documentary from Vince inviting him to be a performer in WWE and if he ever thought about bringing Vince McMahon in to WCW as a character like Vince brought him in to WWE had WWE had been the one to go out of business and not WCW:

EB: No. It’s a hypothetical. Would I have? I don’t know. Maybe. I’d like to think so. I think the point I made in the DVD is that it was a very gracious and elegant thing for Vince to say and do to kind of break the ice. Just kind of bringing it back to a real level and just shoving all the baggage. I just thought it was a very cool, very elegant thing for him to do. Once he said that it made me realize this could be a good working relationship. Would I have done the same thing? I’d like to think I would. I would think I would be proud enough and man enough to put whatever issues I had aside and reach out and move forward in a productive way. I’d like to think that would happen but I have no idea if it would have or not. I certainly didn’t think about it at the time.
