WWE Summerslam

WWE.com is currently running a poll asking fans who they’d like to see as the opponent for Brock Lesnar at WWE Summerslam.

The poll lists John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, Braun Strownman, AJ Styles, Cesaro, The Undertaker, Rusev or an option for “other.” Currently, “other” is currently leading with 25%, followed by Kevin Owens at 15% and AJ Styles at 11%.

Lesnar’s WWE Summerslam opponent, who will be revealed in an announcement on Smackdown tonight, was reportedly confirmed last night following the Canadian airing of Smackdown. The announcement was not made during this week’s Smackdown TV tapings, and will likely air as an on-screen graphic or pre-taped announcement edited into the broadcast.

On a related note, WWE issued the following preview for tonight’s airing of WWE Smackdown:

It was announced previously that Brock Lesnar would return to the squared circle on Sunday, Aug. 21, when SummerSlam takes over Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. But now the WWE Universe will find out on SmackDown who will face The Beast Incarnate at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

The last time the WWE Universe saw The Anomaly in a WWE ring, he defeated Dean Ambrose in a barbaric No Holds Barred Street Fight at WrestleMania. Who will be the next competitor to try and leave Suplex City victorious?

Find out tonight when SmackDown airs on USA Network at 8/7 C.
