Moments ago, WWE confirmed Seth Rollins will challenge Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Championship next week on RAW.
This is the final RAW before WWE Battleground, where Rollins is scheduled (along with the returning Roman Reigns) to challenge Ambrose in a triple threat title match.
Rollins ended up challenging Ambrose to a one on one match after Ambrose interrupted the new ‘Rollins Report’ segment. Rollins used pre-taped archive footage of Roman Reigns to mock Reigns and Ambrose and put himself over; you can read and watch some highlights below from our exclusive live coverage:
Rollins says he has an exclusive one-on-one interview with Roman Reigns. Rollins takes footage of an old Reigns interview and cuts it with Rollins asking questions. Rollins makes it seem like Reigns is proud of what he did. Rollins also made it seem as though Reigns is upset Dean Ambrose is the champion. Rollins says after that he should be given a one-on-one title rematch against Ambrose. Ambrose has heard enough and makes his way to the ring.

Something tells us @TheDeanAmbrose doesn’t quite find the #RollinsReport to be so “illuminating”… #RAW https://t.co/vaQRyctqeN
