Dean Ambrose is still the WWE Champion after tonight’s WWE Championship match on WWE Smackdown LIVE.
The match started with a fight between the two before the bell rang, but once order was restored we saw a back and forth contest. The closing moments of the match saw Ambrose hit a suicide dive and a diving elbow drop, then Rollins connected with a superplex and attempted a Falcon Arrow, only to have Ambrose counter with Dirty Deeds for the win.
After the match, Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon and Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan ran down to the ring, placing a Smackdown shirt on Ambrose as he celebrated his win.
