Alberto Del Rio reportedly has an out clause in his WWE contract that could be in effect in September. It was noted that TNA has shown interest, and he could make big money working somewhere else, but it’s a lot of speculation as to if Del Rio would depart the company.

HoHo Lun

WWE Cruiserweight Classic competitor HoHo Lun worked the 7/22 NXT live event in Ocala, Florida, leading to speculation he might be signed with the company, or at least being kept at the WWE Performance Center for now. Lun was eliminated from the CWC after losing his second round match at last month’s tapings; his signing would make sense as WWE is reportedly looking for a new Chinese star.

Gran Metalik

Speaking of the CWC, Gran Metalik (aka Mascara Dorada in Mexico) is expected to work for WWE in the new Cruiserweight division on RAW, but he is denying being signed when asked in Mexico. He has reportedly been telling people that he’s heard the rumors about his signing, but he has no plans to go to WWE, although he would listen to offers. The Observer noted these statements are reportedly what WWE told Metalik to say until they could the signings themselves.
