On why he thinks Brock Lesnar may have lost money on his UFC 200 fight:

EB: You know what’s another interesting aspect of this that I’ve been thinking about the last couple of days? I read that the fine from the state of Nevada or the USADA could range somewhere from $1.5 million on up to about $1.875 million. Which is a pretty hefty fine but think about it from an accountant’s point of view. Again, I’m totally unfamiliar with how this works but just from a layman’s perspective if Brock Lesnar was paid and earned $2.5 million for that fight that means that Brock Lesnar has to pay taxes on that earned income of $2.5 million. Which is roughly 50%. Now if he gets fined $1.875 million of the remaining $1.25 million that was left after taxes he literally lost money on that fight. This time of year I think about everything from a tax perspective.

In the full episode Eric also discusses:

  • Brock Lesnar’s USADA violations and WWE’s decision to make him exempt from their WWE Wellness Policy
  • How Brock’s violations affects the perception of him and the pro wrestling business
  • Paul Heyman working for WWE without a contract and what he may want to do outside of WWE
  • Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan as the new RAW and Smackdown GMs
  • Finn Balor as the new #1 contender to the WWE Universal Championship
  • Sasha Banks as the new WWE Women’s Champion
  • More…
