Nikki Storm Talks Women’s Wrestling Simply Being “Wrestling”, Her Future in WWE, If She Was Intimidated Entering The Wrestling Business, More

WWE NXT star Nicola Glencross, formerly known as Nikki Storm, recently spoke with The UK’s Telegraph, and below are some interview highlights:

If she was intimidated entering the male-dominated business back in 2008:

“It crossed my mind. but it was never a factor. If there have been obstacles or prejudices, they didn’t matter to me – they’ve driven me to succeed. I just get on with it. That’s me.”

On “women’s wrestling”:

“Yes, there’s always been fantastic women’s wrestling, but then there’s always been fantastic wrestling. For me, that’s what it is, just wrestling.”

What WWE success looks like from her:

“WrestleMania, baby. I know how driven and ambitious I am. I have this image of me holding up the Women’s Championship, or making a Hall of Fame speech, years down the line. Those are the things I imagine for myself. I don’t see any reason why I can’t be there.”
