WWE Interested in Bringing John Morrison Back?, More Quotes From Conor McGregor Ripping WWE Roster, Praise for Rock, HHH, and More

In this episode of the WrestleTalk News, Conor McGregor controversially calls professional wrestlers ‘p***ies’ and slams Brock Lesnar failing a drugs test, and WWE stars reply. Also, WWE have John Morrison in their sights, and Shelton Benjamin sadly injured…

Conor McGregor Slams Wrestlers!

Our top story today is that WWE want John Morrison back! But first, UFC fighter Conor McGregor has said some really nasty things about professional wrestlers.

In the conference call ahead of his Nate Diaz rematch at UFC 202, he was asked about CM Punk’s chances in the octagon, who’s fighting Mickey Gall at UFC 203:

“For the most part, those WWE guys are p***ies, to be honest. They’re messed up p***ies, if you ask me. Fair play to Brock, he got in and fought, but at the end of the day he was juiced up to the f***ing eye balls, so how can I respect that?”

McGregor doesn’t hate everyone, though.

“There’s some dons in that wrestling game. The McMahons, they’re dons. Triple H is a don. The Rock is a don. But the rest of them are p***ies.”

This made a lot of wrestlers and wrestling fans rather upset, so McGregor made one of the worst apologies in the history of saying ‘I’m sorry’ on Twitter:

“I didn’t mean no disrespect to the WWE fans. What I meant to say was that I’d slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday’s.”

To which MVP replied…

“The way Nate Diaz Stockton slapped you?”

And Kurt Angle…

“Very funny little guy. Why don’t you get your head out of Dana White’s ass?”

And Roman Reigns…

“Your the size of my leg. Shut up.”

Before correcting himself 29 minutes later with…

“You’re* sorry grammar geeks, smh.”

‘Your’ and ‘You are’, Roman! CM Punk wouldn’t be impressed.

Before you get angry at McGregor, think about his comments in wrestling terms: he’s building an angle. When he fell out with Dana White back in April, many speculated he’d go to WWE. And he still follows all the McMahons, Becky Lynch, Kevin Nash, Steve Austin and Sheamus on Twitter. He’s obviously a fan.

Also, the Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE are playing McGregor’s comments up with their talent to hopefully build to an angle down the line.
