WWE Backlash Logo Note, Tier 1 Results Featuring Appearance By Former WWE Star Damien Sandow

WWE Backlash

As noted earlier, the returning WWE Backlash got a new logo recently, but it appears this is the third logo since the PPV was announced, and WWE already changed it from one that appeared as late as last week. 

WWE’s Twitter account posted a video last week, featuring the Backlash promo video, nearly identical to the one being reported today. The main difference is the logo seen at the 27 second mark. The ‘second’ logo had more of a ‘slashed’ appearance and a WWE logo with a red line under the ‘W’, and the ‘third’ logo in the new video features a cleaner appearance with the same font as the Smackdown logo as well as the ‘L’ being stressed, and a blue line (for Smackdown) under the ‘W’ which is now placed at the side instead of over the wordmark. 

It hasn’t been said why the quick change but it could be speculated that it was a style choice; you can compare the logos in the videos by clicking the links above, or in the screenshots below:
