Big Update on Ronda Rousey’s UFC Return

According to Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting, there is “increased optimism” regarding former UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey’s return to the Octagon. Helwani had the following to say via social media:

“Nothing is for certain or set in stone yet, but there continues to be increased optimism regarding Ronda Rousey’s return. The goal has always been to return in (New York) but it’s important to remember Rousey had minor knee surgery two months ago. Still few [months] ago the talk was more if not when. That has shifted November to early 2017 is the talk now, but it’s still very early.”

News on This Week’s Low Raw Rating

This week’s edition of WWE Raw finished with a 2.05 cable rating, which is down from last week’s 2.30 raring. This week’s show was the third-lowest Raw rating of 2016, next to the 2.03 rating from June 13th against the NBA Finals and the record-low 1.87 rating on July 4th.

As we noted, this week’s Raw was the least watched non-holiday edition of the show since it moved to three hours, taking in an average audience of 2.911 million viewers.
