Billy Corgan
PWInsider.com reported TNA President Billy Corgan and Impact Wrestling writer / producer Dave Lagana were backstage at EVOLVE 69, but it was just for a visit and not for business. According to sources, Corgan and Lagana were in New York City for TNA business, but it was not with EVOLVE.
WWE Backlash
According to wrestling statistician Darren Bongiovanni, of all of the WWE Superstars to compete at WWE Backlash last night, Kane and Natalya were the only ones who weren’t making their first appearance at the event on the main PPV itself.
Kane competed in his 9th overall Backlash PPV, and Natalya competed on the 2008 event card. Dolph Ziggler and The Miz technically have worked on the cards, but they each worked dark matches not aired on the PPV.
