Nia Jax Extends Undefeated Streak in WWE PPV Debut, New Day to Break Major Milestone as Champions on Raw

Nia Jax Continues Her Undefeated Streak

Nia Jax moved her televised undefeated streak on the WWE main roster to 7-0 tonight with a win over Alicia Fox at WWE Clash of Champion. The match was also her pay-per-view debut.

New Day to Break Huge Milestone

The New Day successfully retained their Raw Tag Team Championships at WWE Clash of Champions this weekend, in a fast-paced match against Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows of The Club. Tomorrow on Monday Night Raw will make 400 days as champions, a huge milestone that even recent betting odds didn’t see coming.

To put that in perspective, of the WWE titles currently active, only three of them have ever seen a title reign of more than 400 days. The last WWE Champion to accomplish this was CM Punk from 2011-2013, whose run ended at 434 days. The last time the United States Championship was held that long was 1993, when Rick Rude was forced to vacate the title due to injury on his 419th day. Finally, you have to go all the way back to 1988 to find an Intercontinental Champion who held his title for more than 400 days; of course that was the infamous 454-day reign of the Honky Tonk Man, ended by the Ultimate Warrior at SummerSlam.
