As seen on RAW tonight, Paul Heyman officially proposed a second match between Goldberg and his client, Brock Lesnar.
Heyman started by playing a newsworthy preview of the new WWE 2K17 video game, featuring Brock Lesnar beating up Goldberg in the game. He says people always wondered what would happen if they fought one more time, and says Goldberg’s name is still chanted to this day. Heyman put over Goldberg’s accomplishments and says Goldberg and Lesnar’s careers were running parallel, except for Goldberg still being ‘one-up’ on Brock, referencing their Wrestlemania XX match, and said it’s the one blemish on Brock’s WWE career.
Heyman said he was officially issuing the challenge on behalf of Brock, and said he is challenging Goldberg to a fight, and it’s icon versus icon, anytime and anywhere. Heyman says the next move was Goldberg’s, and he could live in the fantasy of WWE 2K17, or he could return to the ring and be beaten and conquered, because he’s not Goldberg in Suplex City, he’s next!
