News on Ryback – WWE Trademark Issues

According to PWInsider.com, former WWE star Ryback registered to trademark the catchphrase “Feed Me More” on August 1st for wrestling use. On 10/22, the USPTO suspended any action on the registration as WWE registered a trademark for “Feed Me More” also for wrestling use in January earlier this year. Therefore, Ryback’s trademark claim will be on hold until WWE’s trademark claim is either successfully registered or abandoned by WWE.

First Ever Alberto Del Rio vs Sami Callihan Match Announced

Jersey All Pro Wrestling has announced the first ever Alberto El Patron vs Sami Callihan match will take place at the 20th anniversary event in Rahway, NJ on November 12th. You can get more information on the event at this link.

JR on the Women Main Eventing HIAC

In a new blog posted over at JRsBarBQ.com, Jim Ross had the following to say on Sasha Banks vs Charlotte possibly main eventing WWE Hell in a Cell:

“Is there any reason that WWE should not place the Charlotte vs Sasha HIAC, Women’s Title match on last at the event in Boston? I can’t find any issues with that concept as it would be a good, additional ‘hook’ to the show that has a chance to land a significant amount of viewers on the WWE Network.”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
