New IC Champion
In what some might consider to be an upset, The Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler in the opening match on tonight’s WWE Smackdown Live to win the Intercontinental Champion.
The match was not without controversy as Miz had help from Maryse and The Spirit Squad, but Miz will now go to WWE Survivor Series to defend the title against RAW’s Sami Zayn, with the hopes of keeping the title with the blue brand.

It was rumored earlier tonight that Taz was on site at the Mohegan Sun Arena At Casey Plaza, and Taz posted the following video, confirming he was in Wilkes-Barre at the venue. Taz said he will soon reveal the reason for his visit when he talks about it on his radio show:
