Bill Goldberg recently spoke with The Wall Street Journal to discuss his return to WWE, wrestling, and his upcoming match against Brock Lesnar at WWE Survivor Series. You can watch the entire interview below and the following are some highlights:

On the difficulty of the business:

“The life’s very different. The life is not what people assume it is. Everybody thinks it’s glitz and glamour all the time. The travel, the inability to train, the inability to eat properly…but that is your job.”

On the issue of concussions in sports and wrestling and if he’s worried about it for himself:

“No question. I mean we all worry. But at the end of the day I can’t undo what’s been done. And I’m very proud of the life that I’ve lead, and I wouldn’t change anything for the world. Whether it be the football times, or whether it be the wrestling times smashing my head against a door to get me in character to go out. You understand the inherent risks in what you do. Now if people hide the risks that’s something different. But you should be aware of the risks before you go into something.”

On tripping during his second appearance on Raw:

“I tripped in the ring in my second appearance back, and I don’t do that. I kinda attributed it to overtraining. Maybe something like that had to happen to tell me that I was overtraining. God has a very special way of letting us know what he wants. It was a sign for me, and I backed off a little bit.”
