Asuka (c) vs. Mickie James
Asuka and James lock up. Asuka forces James into the corner. James rolls out into a pin. Asuka kicks out. They have not released each other from the lock up. They finally let each other go. James and Asuka shake hands. James pulls Asuka in close and blows her a kiss. James locks in a side headlock. Asuka sends James into the ropes for a shoulder block, but James doesn’t go down. Asuka locks in an armbar, but James cartwheels out of it. James sends Asuka to the mat after a trip, James hits a basement dropkick. Asuka retreats to the outside. James smiles and holds the second rope open for Asuka. Asuka smiles and gets on the apron and goes under the bottom rope. Asuka grabs a hammerlock. James tries to flip out of it but Asuka holds onto the hold. James reverses it into an armbar of her own. Asuka turns that into a head scissors. James kips up out of the head scissors. Asuka kicks James in the chest. James kicks Asuka in the chest. James hits the ropes, but Asuka surprises her with a flying hip attack that sends James flying to the outside.
Asuka holds the rope open for James but James gets in her face, then tries to go under the bottom rope. Asuka attacks James, then hits another vicious hip attack that sends James flying to the outside once again. Asuka misses an apron hip attack. James hits a head kick, followed by a hurricanranna on the outside. James tries another kick, but Asuka catches her in an ankle lock. Asuka turns the ankle lock into a German suplex! James looks to be out. James is almost counted out. James manages to get in the ring. Asuka hits a corner dropkick for another near fall.
Asuka locks in an inverted tarantula on James. Asuka misses a hip attack on the ropes. Asuka hits multiple kicks to James. James begs for more! Asuka misses a head kick, which allows James to lock in a single leg crab. Asuka tries to get to the ropes. Before Asuka can get there, James turns the crab into the Muta Lock! Asuka manages to get to the bottom rope to break the hold. James and Asuka trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Asuka misses a spinning back fist. James smacks the taste out of Asuka mouth. Asuka tries another strike, but James counters it into a jumping neck breaker. Flapjack by James. James hit the whoopie cushion off the top for another near fall. Asuka slaps on a cross arm breaker, but James’ foot is under the ropes. James hits the Mick kick. Asuka puts her foot on the rope to break the hold. James sets up her jumping DDT, but Asuka reverses it into the Asuka lock. Asuka can’t lock her hands. James turns the Asuka lock into a pin, but Asuka kicks out. Asuka takes James’ back and locks her hands. James has no choice but to tap out.
