Mick Foley just confirmed Seth Rollins will challenge WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens in a no disqualification match on RAW tonight.
The segment started with Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel, and he and Owens teased dissention and a break up, but it was a swerve. The two proceeded to blame Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins for losing at Survivor Series, then Rollins made his way to the ring. Rollins made a case for a title match on the spot, noting he was promised ‘future opportunities’ by Stephanie McMahon for his cooperation at Survivor Series. Reigns then made his way out, followed by Foley, who announced the title match and said Jericho and Reigns would also be banned from ringside.
WWE Smackdown Live
WWE aired a promo tonight confirming a number one contender’s match will take place on tomorrow night’s WWE Smackdown Live.
The ‘Tag Team Turmoil’ match will feature six teams fighting for a chance to face Smackdown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater and Rhyno; The Usos, American Alpha, Breezango, The Ascension, The Hype Bros and Vaudevillains were the teams featured in the promo seen below:
