Jerry Lawler and Lita Removed From Weekly WWE TV Roles, News on Their Statuses with the Company and WWE Pre-Show Plans

According to F4WOnline.com, WWE has confirmed Hall of Famers Lita and Jerry Lawler have been pulled from appearing weekly on WWE pre-shows, and have also been pulled from the PPV pre-show panels.

As for their statuses with WWE, it’s being said Lawler and Lita are no longer under full-time deals with the company and are now under Legends Contracts. The two will likely be brought in for special appearances and WWE Network specials.

Going forward, the pre-show plans in WWE call for a 10 minute format, as seen last night, with Charly Caruso and Booker T hosting for Raw. No word yet on who will be hosting the Smackdown pre-shows, but we will find out tonight as WWE plans to use the same 10 minute format for Smackdown. There is also no word at this time regarding the status of Scott Stanford, who is no longer part of the Raw pre-show team.
