Fans Vote on Multiple Year End WWE Awards
WWE.com has published several year end award polls and the following are current results.
In the coming weeks, WZ will be rolling out the results of our year end awards, as voted on by the readers and the site’s staff.
Best female Superstar of 2016 – Sasha Banks, Bayley, Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella, Nia Jax, SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair or WWE NXT Women’s Champion Asuka. As of this writing, 34% voted for The Boss while 23% voted for Nikki, 19% for Charlotte, 8% for Becky and 5% for Bayley.
Breakout Superstars of 2016 – James Ellsworth, Braun Strowman, Daniel Bryan, Heath Slater and Rhyno, Brian Kendrick, WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa, RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair or WWE Champion AJ Styles. As of this writing, 61% voted for Styles while 10% voted for Flair, 9% went with Ellsworth, 6% for Braun, 6% for Bryan and 5% for Slater & Rhyno.
Best tag team of 2016 – The New Day, Heath Slater and Rhyno, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, The Revival, American Alpha, Breezango, The Golden Truth, The Usos, The Hype Bros, WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, RAW Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus or SmackDown Tag Team Champions Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. As of this writing, 41% went with The New Day while 16% voted for Cesaro and Sheamus, 12% for The Wyatt Family, 6% for The Usos, 5% for DIY and 5% for Slater and Rhyno.
