On YouTube’s decision to no longer monetize pro wrestling content and how his new site IRWNetwork.com can help those affected:

EB: It’s unfortunate for content providers on YouTube. Those that distribute pro wrestling related content on it. They’ve just had the door slammed in their face. They’ve been shut down. They no longer get to participate in the revenue that’s created with the advertising on YouTube. For whatever reason YouTube has decided that professional wrestling content is persona non-grata and they don’t want to support it. There’s a lot of great professional wrestling content on YouTube. I posted a couple tweets and I got hammered by content providers from all over the world who are looking for an alternative and want to put their content out and hopefully be able to make money off their content and pay their bills and feed their families. The timing is in one sense horribly unfortunate for those people who spent years trying to figure out how to make money creating pro wrestling content for YouTube. For us (IRW) it’s opportunistic because we are going to be able to provide a platform that gives these people an opportunity to pay their bills and feed their families. I’m looking forward to it.

If you have been affected by YouTube’s decision to no longer monetize your pro wrestling content and are interested in launching a channel with IRW please send a DM to @IRWNet on Twitter.
