On whether he thinks the rumored fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather will happen:

EB: Do I think the fight is going to happen? Yeah. I think there’s enough money in it so that all parties involved win if it happens. I believe the fight will happen.

On if these are the kinds of “novelty fights” are the kind of fight that Dana White and UFC should be promoting:

EB: This is an interesting topic for me. What is the UFC? What is the heritage? What is the DNA of the UFC? UFC is really about, “Let’s find the best boxers, Olympic level wrestlers, martial artists, kickboxers, muay thai… let’s find the best of the best from around the world and put them in a ring and see who prevails.” That’s the DNA of the UFC. What are we talking about here? We are talking about a mixed martial artist in Conor McGregor getting into the ring with a professional boxer. To me that is kind of what UFC is all about, right? That is what UFC is all about.
