Triple Threat Elimination Women’s Title Match: Asuka (c) vs Nikki Cross vs Ruby Riot
Asuka knocks down Riot before assaulting Cross. Asuka hits the ropes but Cross catches her with a knee. Cross dropkicks Riot off the top. Cross thinks she is safe but as soon as she turns around Asuka dropkicks her off the top. Asuka yells at both Riot and Cross. Riot and Cross clothesline Asuka over the top rope. Cross rolls up Riot, but Riot kicks out at two. After the break, Asuka O’Connor rolls Riot for a near fall. Riot dumps Asuka to the outside. Cross jumps on Riot’s back. Riot lands her falling head kick. Riot falls onto Cross. Asuka runs into the ring and almost kicks Riot’s face off (the same way she did at the last PPV). Riot catches Asuka’s foot to avoid it. Cross pulls Asuka out of the ring. Asuka and Cross battle on the outside. Riot jumps off of the apron and dropkicks both Asuka and Cross. Back in the ring, Asuka misses a top rope splash. Cross seizes the moment and hits the three handled moss covered family credenza. Asuka wisely rolls out of the ring to avoid the pin. Riot attacks Cross from behind. Riot drops Cross with the backdrop driver. Cross kicks out. As Riot is distracted Cross sits her on the top rope and spinning neck breakers her off the top. Riot is done for.
Ruby Riot is eliminated.
After the break, Cross and Asuka are nose to nose. Asuka and Cross trade vicious strikes. Asuka floors Cross with a spinning head kick. Asuka picks up Cross and deadlift German suplexes her. Cross kicks out. Cross forces Asuka into the corner. Cross tries to set up the same move she finished Riot with but Asuka counters and ends up on the apron. Asuka ax kicks Cross on the apron. Cross tumbles to the outside. Asuka lands a diving hip attack off the apron. Cross and Asuka battle up the ramp. Asuka whips Cross into the stage, and then the barricade. Asuka and Cross battle to the backstage area. The referee calls the match a no contest.
Winner- No Contest
In the back, Asuka whips Cross into a plastic fence. Asuka steps on Cross’ chest. Cross manages to escape. Cross slams Asuka into a gate. Asuka grabs Cross by the head and slams her head first into the gate over and over again. Asuka drags Cross into a room backstage. Cross tries to drown Asuka in a cooler. Asuka and Cross battle back to the ringside area. Cross drags Asuka up the steps to the tech area. Cross dives at Asuka and they both fall off the platform through a table.
